Promoviendo el Aprendizaje Activo en una Visita de Campo / Promoting Active Learning in a Field Visit

Resumen

El presente trabajo esta enfocado en la experiencia de crear un día de aprendizaje fuera del aula de clases, adoptando estrategias que enriquecen y activan el proceso de aprendizaje explorando diversos sitios en ambientes naturales de fácil acceso. El principal interés es la realización de actividades y proyectos de aprendizaje interactivo que promueven la colaboración de los estudiantes y tengan una contribución positiva en su participación y conexión con su medio ambiente. El estudio está encaminado a documentar las visiones tanto del docente como de los estudiantes en relación al día de actividades de campo que conlleva una intervención interactiva en la ejecución de actividades practicas sobre detección y monitoreo biológico de sitios invadidos por plantas. Los datos colectados para el estudio incluyeron breves cuestionarios, observaciones en sesiones de clase, pequeñas entrevistas con el profesor y con pequeños de grupos de trabajo con los estudiantes. Los resultados indican que el aprendizaje ocurre y la experiencia en un día de trabajo de campo resulta positiva, conectando fácilmente a los estudiantes con su entorno natural y creando un clima de mayor confianza y seguridad entre los participantes y libertad para que el docente pueda construir sus propias experiencias de aprendizaje fuera del aula de clases para estudiantes en un futuro próximo.
